My client has withdrawn 78250 from his ppf a/c. Is such withdrawal taxable or exempt U/s 80 C. Please clarify with reasons for ur answers.
Interest received at the year end and at maturity from PPF is exempt. Withdrawal, too, is exempt from tax.
