Another Day Without A Smile, Another Day Just Passes By.

As days goes by and we find ourselves leading a monotonous life. We often find it boring with our usual routine and hectic days with pressure. We complain about it and at times crib on it but how many of us have actually tried something different to create some relief for ourselves. We often wait for something good to happen. But changes cant be given to us every time. We have to create the change for our peace and happiness.

A most simple way to create this change is smile. Smile is a gesture which creates a curve on our face reflects in our eyes and reaches our heart. This actually creates happiness within self. Try to feel happiness while greeting a person and the smile will come naturally. Feeling good about something also creates it.

Smiling is a great way to change our attitude, connect with people and give benefit to our body. Like relaxation, smiling can work to counteract the effects of stress. By forcing ourselves to smile, we "trick" our body into believing that everything is good, thereby reducing stress. Like a switch, smiling can actually change our mood. So put a smile on, and it will work to create a positive change for us.

1. Smiling Makes Us Attractive and Makes Us Look Younger

We are drawn to people who smile. There is an attraction factor. We want to know a smiling person and figure out what is so good. Frowns, scowls and grimaces all push people away -- but a smile draws them in. The muscles we use to smile lift the face, making a person appear younger. Don't go for a face lift, just try smiling your way through the day -- you'll look younger and feel better.

2. Smiling Is Contagious

When someone is smiling they lighten up the room, change the moods of others, and make things happier. A smiling person brings happiness with them and creates positive vibes around them. Life is like an echo, reflecting what we do. If we keep smiling to other the smile will come back to us.

3. Smiling Boosts Our Immune System

Smiling helps the immune system to work better. When we smile, immune function improves possibly because we are more relaxed. It lowers our blood pressure. Studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins, natural pain killers, and serotonin. Together these three make us feel good. Smiling is a natural drug.

4. Smiling Makes Us Seem Successful

Smiling people appear more confident, are more likely to be promoted, and more likely to be approached. Put on a smile at meetings and appointments and people will react to you differently. It creates a better level of compatibility.

5. Smiling Helps Us Stay Positive And Reduce Stress

Try this test: Smile. Now try to think of something negative without losing the smile. It's hard. When we smile our body is sending the rest of us a message that "Life is Good!" Stay away from depression, stress and worry by smiling. Stress can really show up in our faces. Smiling helps to prevent us from looking tired, worn down, and overwhelmed. Smile is a strong antidote of stress.
