An individual can claim deduction only for contributions made to Regd. Political Parties or Electoral Trusts u/s 80GGC.. But payment should not be in cash.
If the political expense you have mentioned.. is not by way of contribution to Regd parties.. then you cant claim any deduction.

Yes. Expenditure for meeting personal political expenses cannot be claimed as dedn...regardless of the amount involved.
Besides.. The department may sometimes enquire about the source of funds for such huge political expenses....
