Dear Friends,

I am a CA-Pcc Student and cleared 1st group and wrote 2nd in this may 2010. I have completed B.com last year. I chose to join small firm nearby my college to attend both college and the articleship. Now that my degree is done , i want to join some firm where there is some good work to do. But just by the time i have finished my degree the institute has come up with restriction in transfer of articles.....(50kms radius, Transfer of parents occupation.... etc) which stopped me from getting transfered and i had to continue with the current firm.

Whats my query is whether der is any provision that i can take permission from my C.A and can join other firm for rest of my 1yr article period ???? Is such thing allowed?????? Will it amount to any vioilation ??????? I have also heared about Secondment, i want to know what is it all about and its procedure...... Awaiting ur sincere replies......

Hi Lavanya

Please make effort to do Industrial Training which is normally for a period of 9 months for these the institute is ever ready to give permission.

As ur are saying u have pcc and awaiting result please go to the branch office and find out or search for the training details it is available in the notice board .

Institute made the norm for restriction of transfer from one principal to another as there was large number of people who were just changing their articleship and taking the dummy during their exams.

Please find out the best CA firm near u if u dont get into industrial training and after the CA firm agrres to take u please take the transfer honestly it will be granted to u
