nuba,

Firstly, in PCC attempts doesnt matter at all...so dont worry abt that.

Secondly, if u wana give may 2010 attempt, your 2009 nov attempt will be counted.

And lastly, Maximum attempts for PCC is 5.

Any more Queries now..!!

agree it matters that u clear in one attempt................

you can mention that "u have cleared in First attempt" in ur CV

it gives some weightage in  interview

No of attempts does matters a lot, especially when u sit for an interview!!!! people with less no of attempts r given preferences.

if u dont attempt nov , even then it will be counted

5 is the max no of attempts

1.It doesn't make any difference

2.No nov-09 will not be counted

3.There is no limit of attempts, the provision has been deleted.

As per ICAI 5 eligible attempt will be counted. in ur case Eligible attempt includes your nov 09 exam.

it does not make much difference how many attempts you are taking to clear the exam. i hv come accross lot of CA who are very successful in their career but not able to pass CA in his first attempt.
