Dear friend,, 

Its not important that which books updated and most question contents. Its upon you that how much you collect knowledge from that. So dude my suggestion is that choose books any one of them or institute material and solve the every type of question and clear concept. when you will do it then you found in paper everything is same just figure is changed.

According to me R.L. Gupta's book is best for Accounts(PCC).

acc. to me no book is best than compiler and module, and its accounts not tax ialso u r talking that ur material is old
