Plz help how to prepare IT & SM

HI Rachita , i have flunked in Group2 twice and i got fairly good marks in IT .SM in both the attempts. May 2009 -55 , Nov-09 -56 . I think you can study SM if u can make ur own notes ( I made my own Softcopy notes from Inst PDF books _ Study MAt   Copy imp lines and sentences from the Mat and paste it in a separate word). Take note of only imp points and take a printout of the same. it is more than sufficient. while copying read each and every sentence very thoroughly.

Regarding Infotech u should do thorough study of Mat and understand various concepts, Working of various componenets of comp, DB, EDI, E-payment systems, ES, AI, Networking Hierarchy, topology etc(Pl do a good research of some imp concepts using internet so that ur conceptual understanding is clear and if ur clear that ways, just one or two revisions before exam is sufficient to get 60+.

This is my idea. Hope u may find it useful. all the best for the exams.   

Hi Rachita, First prepare SM thoroughly and then go for IT. Dont forget to do Flowchart in IT and choose one of the chapters between Database and network. Try to attempt full paper i.e. 100 marks even if u dont know the answers perfectly.Bcoz quantity matters. I atttempted around 75 marks and got 54 and the answers also were not upto the mark.

dear go through study material , it is a best book to read , dont refer any refrence .

this subject reqire technical language so prepare with a standard language in writing answer

If you are in Delhi, go for Atul Sirs Classes for IT, he will cover the course in max 9 days for IT and Rathore sir in 10 days for SM. I found the calsses very helpful.

hii rachita...In  IT SM rtp also proves to b helpful.dont do that binary conersion and difference b/w questions as  dey are not asked pcc pattern..in IT do last three chapters as dey cover around 20 marks and u must do flow chart.In SM  u must have thorough understanding of the strategy as it is must for case study..and one 10marks question is generally dere from "reaching strateguc edge" chapter.

Yes, me too find it helpful, atul sir is the best, you can do theory of your own, but at least for flow chart you should go for classes , I found that conceputal clarity is required in Flow chart and for that he is the best.

IN INFO. TECH. AND SM, USE ONLY PADHUKA’S BOOK. NO OTHER THINGS. ALWAYS THEY ASK 10 MARK QUESTION OF FLOWCHART OR/AND DECISION TABLE. MAKE A SEPARATE NOTE FOR THESE TWO CHAPTERS.  PRACTISE ONLY 5 FLOWCHARTS DAILY. FIRST READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL FLOWCHARTS FROM MODULE AND PADHUKA. THEN DO THEM ALL YOURSELF. UNDERSTAND YOUR MISTAKES AND TRY TO RECTIFY THEM.

 

MAKE A VERY SMALL BOOK FOR ALL SHORT FORMS OF IT AND SM LONG QUESTIONS AND CRAM THEM ALL. READ ONLY THOSE SHORT FORMS ON THE DAY BE4 EXAM. PADHUKAS BOOK INCLUDES 100% COURSE. SO U NEED NOT TO OPEN MODULE FOR THEORY.

 

hy rachita don't take it&sm as tuff subject .i cn assure u it's one of the most scoring subject . sm quite resembles wid organisation mgmt which we had as a subject in pe1. frankly speaking u hav to cram both it&sm n for it must do 5yrs papers of last examinations. i don't agree wid those who says attempt total paper of 100 marks in all cases. my theory is to attempt the portion which u know n cn do well.emphasis on the portion in which u r good at rather thn wasting tim in attempting othrs. aftr tht if u hav tym thn u cn go for othr portion. i attempted 80 marks paper n i got 72 i was confident bout tht. U CN REFER DINESH MADAN n ICAI COMPILER. i would like to invite othr students to continue the discussion whether 1 hav to attempt 100 marks paper for getting good marks

              Dont try to make any selection in IT n SM, especially in SM........some chapters are important in IT n SM.......In IT computer network, software n in SM chapter-7 is very important  for May attempt. If u have some query in these subjects then u can consult with me. ALL THE BEST !!!
