Plz help- how 2 prepare theory portion of final costing

Hello All,

I am preparing for Final CA Group 2 - November 2012 attempt.

Can somebody please throw some light on how to prepare for Theory Portion of CA Final Costing (Advanced Management Accounting) ?

Are there any useful books/notes available in market which have proved to be really helpful based on experience in last few attempts. Or Should we stick to only institute material/practice manual/RTP ?

Would really apprecaite some answers from fellow Final Group 2 sudents/ Seniors who have alreay cleared CA....

I have been using padhuka and then institute`s material. Its better i felt

Hey milind, use latest practice manual for theory and as well as practical sums. Although i wpuld advice against using it for OR topics, for theory practice manual is more than sufficient.

LOL you actually have so much time to do Costing theory? Most people(including myself) focussed only on the practical part. Personally I had read and perfected the ENTIRE module for the practical part and the theory there was pretty good so I suggest you refer only that.

Padhuka is more like a 50 years compilation with all questions asked till date in all subjects.

I did the PM summary which is the easiest shortcut but obviously didnt pay off too well as few shortcuts actually work in CA :P
