U CAN PREPARE FOR FULL GROUP.
PLAN FOR PREPARATION:
ISCA 7 DAYS
DT 10 DAYS
IDT 7 DAYS
COSTING 7 DAYS
TOTAL: 31 DAYS
U CAN USE REMAINING DAYS FOR REVISON AND THIS TIME IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU TO CLEAR THE FULL GROUP

It would not be appropriate to rate any book good or bad. Everyone has a different style of learning, understanding and analysing the concepts and on the basis of that, the book is decided. If one is able to understand from a particular book and is confident, he/she must carry on from the same book, regardless of the public opinion about that book. What is important is understanding the concepts, the provisions of the law and every book does the same job. Speaking of Manoharan, no comments on that as I have not seen the book as VK Singhania has kept me busy.

at CA FINAL level it is the potential of the student which matters not the book which he/she refers.
If u would see the first page of the book ..."Recommended by The Institute of chartered accountants of india".
TN manoharan is one of very best direct tax professors of INDIA and he is one of those three former presidents of ICAI who won the very prestegious PADMASREE AWARD.
Do you still think that he can write such a bad book which is not appropriate for CA FINAL level ?
@ suvajit sir :- thanks for ur reply,nw i m very much confident wid the bk................i did not say that the bk is bad but one of the members out here said that its not a gud bk and i hv already covered max. part of the bk and tym is very short so can not afford to change the bk and start afresh..............and i m doing self study so i thought if there is a suggestion from one of the seniors out here then i shud ponder over it.................but thanks u hv actly solved my confusion.i dont think i need to change the book.

If it is so then why students dont refer Institutes Module ???? Dear dont play the verbal gymnastics and mislead others. If u would see the first page of the book ..."Recommended by The Institute of chartered accountants of india". This is the gratitude by the ICAI in return to his acceptance to become President of ICAI. May be but that doesnot mean his book is best. Do you still think that he can write such a bad book which is not appropriate for CA FINAL level ? Yes. This book is not appropriate for those who aims to clear group II in first shot. |
The student fraternity will really appreciate and would rather feel enlightened if you can come up with your in depth review and opinion about the books for CA FINAL Direct Taxes authored by VK Singhania, Vinod Gupta, Padhukas and of course the Institute's study module.
Seriously, its a humble request.
