For IDT u refer Yogendra Bangar book

u also refer  practice manual & case law book whcih complied by ICAI for case law stadies ( all case law in exam are cover from that book)

RTP also refer for latest amendmend in IDT whcih cover in RTP.

If you want to learn and remember IDT then Charts, Graphs by Rajkumar Sir is better.

Else Bangar sir is best.

I agree with sanjay.......refer Raj kumar sir's book........and do case laws from institute book.........for practicle questions refer vs datey and previous year questions.........

M. Rafi is good for understanding concepts. 

For first reading refer to bangar,its comprehensive. For subsequent reading,either purchase Ajay Jain or make your own notes.

VS DATEY is a great book which is also referred by ICAI........

for a question answer type book use practice manual.....

formula for securing above 70% marks  in IDT

IDT  =    (V S datey + with practice manual (ICAI)+supplementry study mat (ICAI)+ RTP which includes case laws referred  by ICAI )

that's it..........

IF you need a thorugh knowledge of this subject means ADAPT WITH = SINGHANIA.

&

IF you are only need a exam oriented knowledge means ADAPT WITH = PADHUKA PUBLICATIONS.

*** Book is depends upon you, better you should go to book stall and take a look and choose the best you liked.
