There should be valid reasons for transferring into another firm. Allowable reasons for transfer should be one of the reason given in ICAI transfer rules. Refer them and take a decision. But usually, if it is immediately after 1 year, then some mid firms may accept, if the transfer is after around 2 or more years, then mid-firms most likely may not accept. And also your Principal should accept for the transfer after 1year. Only in 1st year of articleship only, you have liberty to apply for transfer, afterwards, situation turns complex. Take a good decision and I advise you to directly join in mid-firm rather than jumping.
