Plz advise..

I am gonna complete my 1st year of Articleship on 4th March, 2013. I have applied in a new firm for Articleship and as per the institute rules, transfers are allowed only during the 1st year of articleship. Further, I had taken 1 month leave, so my question is that whether that 1 year is exclusive of all leaves or inclusive, i.e. in my case 1 year will be completing on 4th March 2013 or 4th April 2013??? Plz advise...
