As far as I remember Bangur is for IDT...!!! 

Vinod gupta's book is best for direct tax. You can get this book in any of the leading book stores of your city.Tell me the city where you reside....if possible i will try to give you the exact address of the book store from where you can get this book. The book cost around Rs. 1200. Bangar is for IDT.

THERE ARE MANY BOOK DEALERS WHO SELLS SIR VINOD GUPTA'S BOOK .....

OTHERWISE YOU CAN COPY FROM MY BOOKS.....

U can get at some book stores....its good book but little lenghty

Banger is famous for IDT 

but it is for DT as well 

Written by the highest ever scorer in ca finals ( i m missing his name )

He holds the the position of All india top scorer in ca finals  till today after leaving shri B Sharvanaprasath behind

he also have scored 94 marks in DT which are unbeatable till today

vinod gupta for dt is no doubt very good ,but bit lenghty as it comes in 9 modules and one summary book.but if u have d time and patience to learn concepts clearly its d best.u can refer its summary at last to recall chaps and other important aspects.......You can get it frm any leading book store of d city in which u reside.........bangar is good 4 idt but i hv heard that there's one for dt as well.....i had bought banger's summary on dt..i found it gud...so b4 taking a final decision there r two aspects u have to consider.....(1)exam oriented,qucik study or (2)concept clarification,time consuming but effective......all d best

vinod gupta is d best book for DT as far as i m concern coz i had prefer d same and it is not lenghty but it contain 8 modules but it gives summary modul of those 8 module so in exam time u can complete ur whole DT Within 150 pages and as far as langauge is concern it is very lucid and easy to understand yes it cost 1200

Hey vinod Gupta is best...yaa it do cost Rs 1200 bt ha language is superb, simpl n lucid.. n ha it can be revised easily s it provids 1 summary module which contains ful revision of all other modules..

Trust me i hd done Vinod Gupta nd it helpd me too much...

if u r just an aveare student Vinod Gupta would be too lengthy..use bangar else..even DT is good of Bangar..Outcome/marks depend on book u follow but the knowlegde u gain..some of my friends used Vk gupta module n falied to secure even 40 marks while some others get distinction..but VK gupta module is just too vast to handle..i suuggest u to follow bangar in DT n prepare thorougly..

If u dnt have enuf time to complete VG or Singhania for DT then go for Bangur book that also good.
