hey guys !!!!! I have cleared PCC in june 09......my attempt of final will due on may 2011........i wanna know that my articleship of 3.5 yrs is ending on 18 march 2011. now i hv to take 4 months leaves for coaching in other place(not in my city).... can i appear in may 2011 final exam and cover those 4 mnths after the attempt??? plz help.......

sorry vijay u cant appear in final exams unless ur training period of 3.5 years is completed upto the last date of the month preceding the month in which exam is scheduled to be held i.e 30th april 2011 in ur case.
But if ur 4 months leave is included in total 1/6 leave i.e. max. 6 month as allowed by the ICAI then only u can appear in May 2011
Hi madhur, just conveynce ur boss to extend these 4 months as a part of extension later on,either legally or illegally... Then u'll be eligible for may attempt
Dont leave a gap of 4 months from ur articleship, take leave from ur employer and convince him
So that it wont affect ur exam attempt and serve ur employer after ur final exams unofficially...
yes..These 4 months leave is included in my total 1/6 leave..........
although i'll try to convince my boss.........
