agree with statement completely .....as parveen sharma is the best teacher of accounts ...
and on the other hand if u can't afford it then D.S. rawat is a good book for accounting stds .....

u May refer MP Vijay Kumar book it gives illustrations for every variation in the aacounting standard besides also is very simple language based book

I personally feel that the books which are mentioned above
DS Ravat
Praveen Sharma
both are equally good... you decide how comfirtable you are in refering any of these books. by now if you are already refering praveen sharma then prefer not to change your stand now ... hope its an useful advice from me:)
