Helo friends, i am ipcc student, i pass cpt already, i appear ipcc 3 time but nt pass any groups, now my question is that, as per new rule, graduate having 55% can start articleship? I have more than 55%, so my question is that, can i start articleship ? And if i start articleship then can i able to appear Nov.2012 ipcc exam or Not. Please reply.

Eligiblility for admission to three years articled training on -

(a) Passing of 1st Group or Both Groups of Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination; or Accounting Technician level Examination;
(b) Completion of Information Technology Training; and
(c) Completion of Orientation Course

But in new rule, there are nt compulsory for passing any group of ipcc to start articleship ? I am confuse now

Admission to Practical Training (Articled Training):

(i) Students covered under the category mentioned at (A) above, i.e.

Commerce Graduates or Post Graduates or Non-Commerce Graduates or Post Graduates

with specified percentage of marks shall be eligible for admission to three years articled

training, on completion of -

(a) Information Technology Training;

and

(b) Orientation Course.

Means me articleship start kar sakta hu na, but pls koi muje ye to batao k me Nov. 2012 me ipcc ki exam de sakta hu ya nahi ?

I suggest to meet ICAI Chapter people and clarify on this issue, u will get diff replies here so better to contact icai people...

Hi friend...see yesterdays ipcc application details posted on CA website... It clearly states that u can appear for exam only after completing of 9months articleship programme under existing student conversion category... i think u cannt appear for cuming november xam

Anand last date for registration in aricleship is 31st of Oct for eligible for final attmpt in May 2015. And Hardik i have also heared about this but not sure so you can contact on this no 011 39893990 its ICAI's no.

Dear hardik,

If you joined artcileship then you are not allowed to give Nov 2012 exam. If you join befor 30th sept then you can give attempt in May 2013. You must have complited your ITT and Orientation so its better to join articleship now and to give attempt in May 2013.
