hi friends i have been selected for articleship in ernst and young.i have to work with internal audit.i don't have any knowledge of it.is it a good area for future?and what are the other areas of audit in big corporates like statutory audit etc?is it better to go for big 4?please suggest.thanks

Off course Big four have something which other small firms cannot provide. You have a great opportunity to work with big corporates client domastics as well as MNC's.
You have started with internal audit so, basically in internal you will learn many things like,
working procedures of various departments of the client, team work, you will get chance of develop your verbal and written communication skills, various report preparation, rating systems on the basis of audit reports in case its bank audit and many many more.
You work hard so, also you get chances to work in other fields like area of taxations etc.
There are various type of audits except Internal Audits like, Tax Audits, Company Audits, Special Audits, Bank Audits (these are internal audits or concurrent audits appointed by bank itsself) etc.
