PC tulsian sir's book are available in set... Self study book along with Revison scanner...
If you're going for first time to acquaint with subject , you should go for set or even only self study textbook. But I find both of them relevent and helpful. Here scanner is not mandatory, but its better if you go for set.
It makes you allow fast revision, as I experinced it personally.
It will be helpful if you're studying with planning and proper revision techniques!
