My friend passed PCC yesterday, his articleship was completed on July 2010 . He wants to write CA Final exam in May 2012. My question is -1)whether he can write exams in may 2012 as final registration would take at least one month & filling of exam form is 29th Feb. 2) Can anyone provide me the link of ICAI's website where I could ask this question?

i cleared pcc last august and my 6 months training was pending . ....i registered foir final in september and filled exam form and gave final exam ...... so ur frnd can sit in exam .... register for final and fill exam form this month only ............gud luck to ur frn
Though your friend is eligible to appear in final examination, he should take up final exams only if he has started the preparation for final and has completed atleast 50% of the syllabus.
Attempting without adequate preparation is not advisable.
