Please help me regarding service tax.(ipcc exam)

Recently i am preparing for IPCC MAY 2012 EXAM. but i have problems in following point so, please help me.

I have doubt in following point of SERVICE TAX.

1. what is the different between BILL RAISE & BILL ISSUE.

2. is it service tax is includes in BILL RAISE , BILL ISSUE & ADVANCE PAYMENT to service provider.

I refer PADUKA for service tax. I solve many examples of service tax. but I confuse about above point. In some example service tax is calculated separately and in some example service tax is considered as including in bill amount.

Please give me reply as soon as possible

u are getting confuse...see study material....u will see service tax is chargeable the moment it is recived...advance payment or whatever it is if it is recieved...then service will be levied on that amount ....bill issued or raised means it includes service tax.........so u have to find out value of taxable service by reducing service tax from that amout.........

example when u buy a tv suppose.... he gives u bill in that he includes service tax also...but some people do not take bill.....so that they can save their service tax.....that means what..... bill means it includes service tax...........i hope u would understand now........
