Hi Madhavi..
In final all subject are important..u ask which suject is hard it all depend on person to person..because i like practicle subject but it is possible you not like that..
so i suggest you you start study first that subject in which u interest more..because once u get start than you utilised that start in all other subject..
in direct tax starting chapter are some whcih you read in pcc/ipcc level.
in indirect tax custom portion easy for study..but service tax portion is very long.. and in service tax u require good theory knowledge. because in exam most portion cover in theory/concept basis.
in costing QT portion easy..than ABC, standard cost, marginal cost are IMP chapter.
in ISCA all chapter are important. but you start first chpater no. 1,4,5,6,7 than after remain..
and last
All the very best for ur Exam...

Costing- This is a very tricky area! Start with QT and then proceed to decision making and finally, standard costing. Marks-wise, QT carries a weight of 20-25%, while standard costing is nearly 15% or so. Make sure you go through the sums in practice manual since they have asked different varieties of ques in past 2 attempts. Its ok if you don't practice every sum of PM, but just go through to get an idea of different kinds of sums.
QT is relatively easier so be sure that you score maximum in this area, since others are very conceptual based.
ISCA- Read the institute material TWICE and then refer to practice manual, which is a must since direct questions hit from it. Every chapter is equally important.
DT- Capital Gains, Business Profession and Assessment proceudre are considered to be the most important areas in this subject. However, the preparation of DT has to be THOROUGH!! Since past 2 terms, they've given 16 mark sums from so-called unimportant areas, so focus on the smallest topic as well. Since you're giving one group, time constraint should not be an issue at all!
IDT- Excise and Service Tax are the most important areas. Just go through your notes lots of times, so that you are clear on the concept. Service Tax is very very scoring, and carries around 25-30% weightage, so try scoring maximum marks in it.
Good luck for ur exams! :)

Madhavi.!!!!!
In Final, every subject has it's own importance.
The thing is you have to evaluate yourself which area you are better - in theory or practical.
Because, while reading ISCA every time you will feel like it is an new subject and reading for the first time. So, at the first reading it self try to prepare notes on each chapter and while reading the next time you can refer your notes. It is easy for your revision. i did same thing and even got 72 in that subject.
Plan & Prepare well..!!!
All the very best.
