Dear freind dont be so panic, there is noyhing to be so worry.
I have also such type of situation, u also was so worry about the same, but now i am little bit relaxed let me explain:--
In case of IDT, there is not so much of change other than foreign trade policy and weightage is increased to 25 from 20 of custom so only extra reading is for ftp remaining custom is same.
excise weightage is only reduced to 25 from 40 no alteration. vat removed and service tax increased to 40.
hence not so much chnage.
In case of isca i refer the material of icai in which now there are 8 chapters in which only 2 chapters are new rest are only reorganized no change.
ok
dont worry be happy and start for preparation for exam with fresh mind and mood
Best of luck

Hi,
Dont panic..In IDT, there are very less changes, but I would suggest you to purchase latest publication of your reference book applicable for November 2014.
Excise has been reduced to 25 from 40, Service Tax increaed from 25 to 50. Customs approx 20 marks and Foreign Trade Policy approx 5-10 marks..So syllabus of Excise and Service tax is same, but their scope is decreased/increased. Master the Service Tax.
Even I gave my both groups and managed to clear group 1 only. I will be appearing group 2 now. For ISCA, I referred Dinesh Madan earlier, but now I am going to refer only ICAI study and practice manual as per revised syllabus.A few topics are deleted and a few are added, which I think are easily manageable.
Keep your morale high, best of luck !
