I m very much interested to join banking sector after comleting my CA as my Final result is awaited next month.Plaese guide me how to prepare myself with good banking knowledge to make my basics strong and face interviews.Please suggest me any website or books to gain knowledge.

Before you go to technicals,
Choose whether you want to be in commercial banking or Investment Banking.
You should be able to give a good reason as to why you want to be in that particular field at the same time you should be able to relate the CA subjects with it i.e. you should be able to explain how CA helps you in that field.
If you choosed commercial banking, decide whther you would want to be in risk mamangement, treasury operations, corporate finance, Basel II, structuring and selling financial products etc..??
If you want to be in Investment Banking, decide among Stock/Sector Research, M&As, fund management, front office - trading and sales, fund raising, asset management, or into bonds and derivatives...etc?
After you do the above, let us know your choice out here or on a different topic of CAclub, and I am sure you will get a much better response.

Nobody will ask u extra ordinary beensure just command your taxation part and as properly and in addition read basel 2 and banking regulation act (just for knowing) thats enought
