Yes, They can be..
See part IX of the Companies Act, Company also can be a partner in partnership firm.

a partnership firm cannot be a partner of another firm.

Yes Mr. Trinath a partnership firm & a HUF can be a partner of any other partnership firm.

Partnership is based on a contract. Hence such parties having right to enter into a contract can enter into a partnership.
