your chance due and attempt is different - it will be your second chance but first attempt, of course.

Example: An exemption (above 60 marks) is valid for the next consecutive 3 attempts.. In case you miss one of the exams, still the attempt is counted... and limit for exemption is exhausted..

Similarly in your case.. Its your 2nd attempt..
 

it is in between, and after the examination in which you got exemption., and not before
