Your dad knows you better than us and you know yourself than anyone else. He is wearing a wise hat, knowing what a Bcom course offers at the end of the day. Most cases it is college time , jolly time and he seem to be apprehensive that your focus will go astray because of the college life. From a parent point of view, he is right in his thinking. It is an age which changes you from being an teenager to a man, so his thinking may be on those grounds.
You should know your responsibiltyas to what to do, I know the word responsibilty is too much for a young mind like you. But trust me, nothing comes easy in life. Every mistake is an experience and if you din't err, you would not know the real meaning of life. Only if you have strong determination in pursuing your CA, you must convince your dad and join for degree, otherwise follow what he says.

You are thinking in a wrong way. If you complete B.com in a relaxed way there is no chance of becoming a chartered accountant. Prepare for CA..Simulteneously do the B.com through private registration. ( It is advised that to take it from some lienint universities in Tamil nadu , Then you will not have to spent more time on degree studies. If we do not get the CA, we can attempt tests with graduate level and seek employments)Your father is correct and you are thinking in a wrong way. You may lose some college life, but it will be good for your career.
