Mr. A (Mumbai) received PO from B Inc (Japan) for providing taxable service to C Ltd (Mumbai)(branch office of B Inc)
and A will recv consideration from Mumbai branch of B Inc

As the recepient in Mumbai & the payment also reced from B, Mumbai dealer , so the will be POS will be MUMBAI
it's also depend upon the nature of service

The place of supply is Mumbai.

as per my opinion POS is Mumbai since both receiver & provider are in Mumbai. & payment also rec'd in INR.
but receiver is arguing that place of supply shall be Japan.
the nature of service is advertising service.
can anyone explain more with provisions.
