Pl stop blaming ICAI for results

I know I am going to receive n no of curses from failed students, but I cannot refrain myself from writing the foll: ( I really felt bad when students are cursing ICAI like anything, hence thought of sharing my views...)

 - I read a note by Ravi K in section heading of "results too low" and I think he is real matured student. 99% students on this forum are blaming iCAI like anything. I know its real painful to study those things again and again, but one really need to identify what went wrong

 - first of all, how can student say that I am expecting 70 marks n got 40 marks, can we really determine how many marks he can get in CA paper? Its not bcom exam , wherein we can really anticipate marks we get

-second thing i found lot of cribbing here against few of ICAI top people...I think instead of wasting time in just cribbing, why not start afresh ?

-Hope one has read in Todays newspaper of one guy becoming CA, whose father runs small :haathgadi" & sells wadapav...hats off to that fellow...can we really learn something from him ?

-Last but not the least, there is always ray of hope. 99% of hard work + 1% of luck =CA degree. I agree that 1% is equivalent to 99%, but surely we can make it

So wish you all the best, pl dont get demotivated and blame ICAI. Remember we get degree from ICAI, dont blame it :)

Ya true..but it will be hard to digest by those who have failed...but accepting the truth and moving on is the only solution..

When a student is confident to score 40+ in atleast attempted 70 marks, how can you say it is wrong??

In CA Final OLD COURSE many of my friends are in shock to have failed in Law and Audit papers. Since most questions were absolutely easy and scoring and they were confident enough to deservingly get scoring grades but they ended with just 28 and 32.

What's happening?? ... Well, the example you have shared is also motivating but you cannot deny manipulations happening.

One can easily notice that metros and developed cities are facing huge passing problems rather small town students which is logical for urban population on a roll and demand for CA course among students on a roller-coaster

Many congrats for this brave post AJK

Totally agree with you...

Coaching standards along with individual study standards are quite low indeed. That is the main reason of low results. Things and result may improve with improved writing and presentation skills.

ICAI and various other educational institutes are just a means of gaining knowledge and they are not the sole distributors of knowledge appointed by GOD. ICAI cannot decide the future of anyone. Knowledge is everywhere but all that we need is to figure out the real meaning of knowledge and how to use it for our growth and success. As per my understanding we can earn true knowledge and succeed in any exam by our constant and honest efforts and self belief. Please think about this...

I think students needs to work a little harder…

Good Luck

Dears,

The said steps of tightening the results of ICAI should have been taken agone by ICAI so that the worst demand of a qualified CA would not have been happened. Since CAs are being produced more than the country's demand, which has to be curtailed down by using either of the strategies i.e. either to restrict the intake of any Tom, Dick and Harry in ICAI, or to lower the result by having a tough examination system to reduce the production of Qualified Chartered Accountants, and to boost up the demand of proposed CA-ICAI.

Merely increasing the number of members may never turn the tables in favor of ICAI, it has been witnessed that ICAEW and ACCA have been trying to increase the number of members for a long time, which has not served the purpose so far, and demand of their qualified professionals is being reduced day by day, except at their own region. On the other side, CA-ICAP is being demanded through out the world, since they produce only 3-5% of their total intake, and their number of members is around 4600, which is much on the lower side, however an experienced qualified CA-ICAP earns more than 500,000 a month.

Revival of ICAI policies is mandatory, ICAI should pass lesser number of CAs to boost demand at national and international level, and lets student say whatever they say.

Furthermore, Students reaction is inevitable since this is human nature, people feel pleasures when their inner wish is executed and feel annoyance in the contrary.

Iqbal said that destiny is not altered unless one at his own endeavors to do so.

Desperado
