Hi,

     My cousin has joined a concern just few days ago and the employer claims only if the employee is 6 month old, he can join the PF & ESI scheme offered by the company.

    Could any one clarify is that the employer's claim in this case is valid?

the employer has kept your cousin in "trainee" and maybe upgrade him in "employee" after 6 months

Please see the appointment.if This is for employee without any such  condition.Employer will have to put him in employee list for PF.

i  was retainer(contract) in the company  and got income from professional services that amount was 12000rs at the end of 6 months and they transferred the same money to my current employer pf account(left the job after six months). my salary was 9000pm which is non taxable 

 

if i wants to reimburse pf amount  with above 12,000 amount from current employer, will they charge 30% tax for the  income from professional services of previous employer or that amount should not consider in pf
