Hi,
PF withdrawl before completion of 5 years is taxable in the hands of employee as follow :
EmployER Cont. and intt. on it : >> Taxable U/H Salary
Intt. on EmployEE Cont. : >> Taxable U/H Other Income
EmployEE Conn : >> Taxable if claimed as deduction earlier....
@ Pragya: Intt on PPF is exempt from tax but on PF is taxable.
