If PF contribution of EMPLOYER for Assessment year 2008-2009 is paid after the due date & b'fore the due date of IT return filing. In this case it will be allowed & disallowed?

if it is paid in the same assessment year before date of filling return in the same assessment year then it is allowed as a deduction. otherwise it will be allowed as deductionin the year in which it is paid.

If it is paid within the date of filing of returns, the it will be allowed.

PF contribution by the employer in such case will be allowed . But if payment is made after due date of furnishing The ROI then it shall not be allowed in the year of payment also.

It will be allowed in the P.Y. only if the payment is made before the DUE date of filing of return
