if company pays Rental amount to the landlord where employee residing.
what is the tax treatment for this, if employer pays the rent,
whether it is treated as Perk, if yes .
whether employee need to pay tax on perk.
Please help me in this regards

Dear Hari,
Where employer pays rent directly to landlord then this will be treated as Perk under "Rent free accomodation"

hi,
one of the director in the company got the rental accomadation from the employer as perk which is taxable
whether employee has to pay the tax on perk ,0% of salary Less HRA, which ever is less
.what the tax treatment for this employee.
