Is the monthly pension received by the widow (super senior citizen)of an Army personnel taxable?
No tax is deducted and she has never filed any returns till date.

Interest from the 54EC bond ,
Pension
Interest on savings account
Is she liable to file return?
Section 10(19) of the Income Tax Act provides an exemption for the family pension received by the family members of Armed Forces personnel who have been killed in action.
