What's the interest and penalty for late filing of TDS return. Is it per CD i.e. Rs. 100 for 24Q and Rs. 100 for 26Q per day.
Pls clarify.

It is Rs. 200/- because 24Q and 26Q both are to be filed seperately thats why 100 rs. each for each type of TDS REturn is payable as panelty. per day

tell me if an employeer's can not file TDS return for 2 years then he can file TDS Return Now

yes they can file tds return for previous 2 years now
for filing return you have to contact tin-nsdl center at your area
first file your tds return with exact data, if there is any complication in it then dept. will inform you

dear sir,
a tds return for q2,q3 and q4 for financial year 2011-12 not filed. tax liability in all the three qtrs is rs.364/-, rs.2044/- and Rs.4625/-.
is according to provisions given penalty u/s 272 A(2) restricted to tax payble i.e. Rs.364/-,2044/- and Rs.4625/- only.
