How much will be PENALTY for Late filing of Central Sales Tax Monthly Return?

Dear Umesh Sir,
The Sales Tax department shall levy penalty of Rs. 5000/- for Late filing of CST Retunr. The CST Return should be filed on or before 21st of the next month.( For Eg. CST Return of April should be filed on or before 21st May).
