 But i would recommend u go through the study material first.....

the c.a. institute books are good you can go for that

As far As Law and Audit books r concerned for LAW its G K KAPoor And for Audit STUDY module is the best.

There r 2 books by G K Kapoor - a) Lectures on Business and Corporate Laws and b) Business and Corporate Law ( Question and Answer format). Which one r u referring to?

selection of authors jus depends on how comfortable u can be wit the books..... i feel the best books.....

Law book - N.D.Kapoor and
Auditing - G.Sekar. in fact this exams questions were from G.sekar because he has covered al the questions including the compilation....

but even then first priority should only be given to the institute material... take care and al da best..... God Bless....

Hi,
   Well as I've qualified GRI by studying Institute's study modules,I would strongly argue you to go through them thoroughly.For answering Q1 and Q2 in auditing which concerns with practicals,go through the suggested answers,you"ll get the idea of writing the practical answers.Believe me they give good marks on writing from the study material and suggested answers.I suppose you"ll not get a second book in auditing apart from the one given by Institute.In short dig deep with limited materials instead of hopping over many books.Believe me it pays on sticking to one set of materials.All the very best for your exams.
