Hi ,
I too have my pcc attempt in may 2009 and I am also feeling the same way. You should have faith in yourself and you said it right that planning is very important.
It seems that you are quite clear about your strengths and weaknesses so you should act accordingly .
Here are a few things you must do.
As you reach home by 8:00 so you can just relax for half an hour. Then start with a subject you love to study devote 1 hour to this subject you may devote a little more time if it is practical subject.
Then take a break , take dinner discuss your day with your family this will completely relax you and you will feel fresh, remember to take a light dinner as you have to study after that.
By 10:00 you should start with your second phase of study.Start with any subject that you want to study do not force yourself you must love the subject you are studying at this time otherwise you will feel sleepy.Study till 12:00 and not beyond that otherwise the next day you will feel very tired and sleepy.
Everyday you must take out time for exersise in the morning .It may be a 15 minute brisk walk or alittle jogging but keep yourself fit because a healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
By 6:00 you must be ready to sit to study with a fresh mind and body. This is the time you must devote to subject you feel difficult as during this time concentration level is very high .Study till 8:00 as after that you have prepare to go to your office. Take a good breakfast never skip your breakfast.
On weekends study the subjects you may have left .During regular days remember to shuffle the subject every alternate day as this will help you to cover allmost all the subjects during a weeks time .Everyday you will be studying for at least 5 hours by following this routine.
Start studying with a cool head, just concentrate on what you are presently studying do not let the stress overpower your determination.
As you said that you are good at accountancy regular practise can can give a boost to your confidence.
For cost and fm as you have attended a few classes you must have cleared a few concepts so you can practise problems on those topics which will help you in overcoming your fear and regaining your confidence.
Taxation - You know that you are relatively confident in this subject and you also know why you are facing difficulty in problems that is due lack of pracise . So start practising and if you missed the class then it is not the end of the road because there exists something called self study and one study practical subjects also all by himself , which is very useful as you yourself try to understand the topic and it helps in retaining it in you mind whatever you have learnt.
Theory subjects as you said you are planning to self study is a good option .
The time is limited but you still have it.But remember that you must cover everything before january as revision should start at least three months before exam during which you cannot afford to learn new things .This time is only meant for revision and solving as much problems you can.
Best of luck for you exams!
