I have dount regarding service tax payment. I am working in a service organisation as an accountant. Please clarify my doubt. I submits service invoice alongwith service tax amount. some times we use service from others and I pay invoice amount alongwith service tax. In this case can i pay service tax amount after deduct what i paid to others.
Please clarify my doubts.

Hiiii,
your query can be better explained as under when you prepare the Invoice i.e. sales it is out put service tax
and when you purchase the services it is input service tax
we can understand it via example
you prepare the invoice for Rs.200 and charged service tax @ 14%
so service tax is 28
and you purchase the service for Rs.100 and pay service tax @ 14%
so service tax is 14
so final payable service tax is Rs.14.
