My client registered a partnership firm in vijayawada A.P state. There she is paying vat by registering same.now she want to open a shop or business in hyderabad under same partnership firm.can she do that ? if yes what is the procedure.and in hyderabad separate vat registartion is required or she can pay vat under same registration which is in ANDHRA PRADESH STATE.INSIGHT IS VERY MUCH HELPFULL

but hyderabad is not under A.P anymore. It is under TELANGANA STATE. so different registration is required ri8 ?????
Yes, you will need separate registration if the VAT rules of Telangana so provide. There must be specific provision in Telangana VAT Act for transitional cases and validity of AP VAT registration. However if the firm has been registed after creation of Telangana State, then separate registration is mandatory.
