HELLO FRIENDS, I HAVE WRITTEN PARTNERSHIP DEED BETWEEN TWO PARTNERS AND REGISTER IT BUT NOW ONE PARTNER WANTS TO RETIRE FROM THE FRIM AND THE OTHER WANT TO DO THE SAME BUSINESS IN PROPRIETORSHIP.

NOW PLS. TELL ME WHAT TO DO NOW I HAVE TO WRITE THE DISSOLUTION DEED OR RETIREMENT DEED

BUSINESS IS CARRIED ON BY ONE PARTNER ONLY AS A PROP.

AND IF IT IS DISSOLUTION WHETHER I HAVE TO APPLY TO REGISTRAR ALSO.

PLS. HELP ME.

Yes, you have to make the dissolution deed. You have mention that the firm is dissolved and on going

(remaining partner) has taken over the concern or is willing to continue and will become the proprietor

of the business. You have to apply to the registrar submitting the copy of dissolution deed.

AND HOW TO SURRENDER THE PAN OF THE PARTNERSHIP FIRM.

get in touch with UTISL/NSDL for cancellation, of PAN 

file return of firm upto the date of dissolution, then write to ITO to close the firm file.
