1. We are two friends starting a business and done with incorporating as "Pvt. Ltd". So, in layman's term we are partners. But as the legal papers states, we are called as "directors". We just want to make it easy for manufacturers, suppliers and mentors to find whom to talk to and we want to spilt up works within us and designate ourselves. As few forums stated we cant use special directors (even though its not mandatory) and we are not going to appoint anyone as such. But is it okay to designate ourself like "Product, R&D Director" "Operations director" . Or is there any other way around this ??
2. Does this really impact the credibility when we go pitch our ideas to VC or angels. Because we never really cared about designations until an angel mentioned "who makes what decision".
3. Mostly i will be taking care of product design, marketing. And my partner will be handling finance & daily operations. Where comes the CEO or director stuffs and is it okay to have a designation for my partner as CEO/operations director.
