only a ca working wid a chartered firm is eligible to apply for part time cop.for dat wen u apply for the member der u hav to fill the details applying for the part time cop.

When u apply for COP, if u r engaged in some sort of business also, then tell them the truth, u will get part time COP.......they will not give u full time COP !!

To the best of my knowledge, concept of part time COP has been withdrawn by ICAI few years ago. I don't remember the exact date. Now one can either have full time COP or No COP. You can check this by writing mail to ICAI.
