u can verify your pan number at incometaxindia.gov.in

u need to enter ur name and DOB in case of individual and in case of company name of company and date of incorporation.

hi,

simple way to verify your PAN and name mentioned in your PAN database...is to go to pay tax online icon on www.incometaxindia.gov.in.......select a challan no. and give your PAN and name and click submit.....it provides you with correct name and verifies if your PAN is valid or not............

its helpful to mention right name in the return and also to know whether its valid PAN or not.......just to verify whether its right or wrong......
