Is it compulsary for A.O. to quote PAN in a notice to the assesse? Will the notice be invalid if the A.O. does not mention PAN?

BROTHER, WHAT U HAVE TO DO WITH THE FORMAT OF NOTICE..
BASICALLY PAN IS THE UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER OF THE ASSESSEE AND AS SUCH IT WILL BE MENTIONED ON NOTICES,ORDERS,ETC TO AVOID CONFUSIONS ON SAME NAME,ETC..
