pan no. verification for company's

hello,

I want to know exact site /link where i can check the Pan No. of the company, becuase in incometax site pan vertification is availabe but it is accepting of individuals only & not cheking of company's, so please guide

If you had the PAN no. of the company, to confirm the correctness of the PAN no. you can go to e-Payment option in the "incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in" website and enter the PAN no. with you and fill up the mandotory field with some dummy data and select any one of the Bank. Immediately it gives the name of the assessee as per Income tax Department's record.

In case you did not have PAN no. of the company, you can find out the pan in the above website under the service option, know your pan. But, you should know the date of incorporation of the company. Enter name of the comapny only in "Surname" area and enter the date of incoporation in the dd-mm-year format, you will get the PAN.

Alternatively u can log on to www.tin-nsdl.com to track out the pan no. of company but u must hv the date of incorporation/ registration of the company.

Hey this is sinister, But you can go to tin-nsdl, choose e-payment of taxes... choose FBT or BCTT. enter the some PAN number, and the nsdl site displays whose name the PAN has been registered with the IT dept.

pooja, U can also check company's pan in incometax website. just type company name in surname field n date of reg of the company in date of birth field. the pan of the co. will appear
