14 November 2011Our's is a LLP firm. while attlotting PAN by incometax department the fourth letter of PAN is given as 'C'.
Now we cannot able to file incometax return. We have to apply for PAN correction. But, as per my knowledge Form 49A will not meet the requirement.
Pl. suggest the procedure & appropriate form immediately
we have to file return for A.Y 2011-12

I think you should visit NSDL office as its an unusual mistake which is not generally found.

write to nsdl centre for your problem and not soved then if you have copy of form 49 filed for PAN you may contact the A.O. for correction
