hi, you hav to submit the PAN correction or change form .It can downloded from www. tin-nsdl.com website ,also you have to provide ID proof as well as address proof along with the form.
It charges INR 94 .
You can submit the form through any authorised PAN facilitation centres.
Let me know whether I need to pay Rs.94 ( Towards correction of DOB ) eventhough I have furnished the required documents previously and Dept is at fault.

I have query regarding signature in online appilcation form.
It stated as ''Signature / left thumb impression should only be within the box provided in the acknowledgment".
It means digital signature or scanned image of signaure?
what i mean was i will make sign on a paper,later i will scan this signature.
Or i need digital signatue?
The fee is mandatory for every correction application. Also, it wont be a mistake from Dept. side. The mistake might have occured either while filling the application form or while processing by the TIN-FC. Anyway, in both cases, the fee is mandatory.
If the proof you have submitted along with the application you made to the department is correct, you need not make the correction application.
