Pan card

Dear Members

Recently I have converted a Private Limited into a LLP. Now I want to know whether I have to apply for a fresh PAN card or I can apply for change in PAN CARD.

Kindly guide me.

i think you should surrender old pan and get fresh pan for llp. that is easy process . i have done changes in pan like name mis match.. photo or address etc but not sure abt status of firm.

If status of assessee changes, new PAN is required. So, don't apply for 'Change/Correction in PAN Card' because it is used for change in name/dob/address etc or you may use it if your PAN card is lost so that PAN will remain same.

But in your case you need a new PAN because your status has been changed from Company to LLP. So, surrender your current PAN and apply for new PAN.......

You need to apply for fresh PAN Card as your status has been changed from Company to LLP, and while applying for fresh PAN Card of LLP you need to attach closure certificate of co. and Incorporation or conversion certificate of LLP.

You are suppose to apply for fresh (new) PAN CARD for PARTNERSHIP LLP and second application for cancellation of PAN in the name of CO.

for applying new PAN USE FORM 49A and for cancellation of PAN USE FORM CHANGE / REQUEST APPLICATION FORM MENTION CO'S PAN FOR CANCELLATION (BELOW WHERE SPACE GIVEN FOR PAN APPLICATION)
