Pan card

One of my brother had applied for a new PAN Card on 24-12-2012 and till date he had not received the same, but his name is appearing on the on the income tax website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in on tracking his PAN status.

How should he deal with it?

pls send mail asking for status update to tininfo @ nsdl.co.in. alternatively you can track the status online also

there should have been a problem with the address mentioned in the pan application form. apply for a correction in pan data and update your address. and your pan card will be dispatched after few days.

first of all tell me that hv u got PAN or not? you should contact PAN service unit and they will definitely solve it and tell u d actual prblm heppening with ur application.

It may be possible that any descripancy found in ur application form. they will tell u d problem and do the rectfication.

Dear tribhuvan ji, correction in PAN cn not be applied without PAN card. It is mandatory to enclose copy of PAN card or covering letter of PAN with form 49AA

Sry Mr Nitin sir, that is form 49A only. 49AA is used for TAN .

Dear piyushji take a print out of your details from know your a o of income tax dept website and along with necessary documents again apply for correction. You have to fill blue form. Plese don't wait for more then 1 month. If u r not getting then go to uti or nsdl counter for enquery

@ ca nitin ji.... if u remember then in case of lost pan card, you just have to take print out of you pan card details from income tax efiling website and it will ne enough to apply for a correction form.

Apply for new PAN by using same data you will get pan card with same no.

CA SURESH CHANDRA JI if they apply for new pan then how is it possible to get the same pan.it will be better to first check the status at nsdl wheather it is undelivered or something else. Then apply for correction then he will get the same pan .
