One of my relative has lost his PAN card and even he does not remember his PAN. I have searchd his PAN by all means on website but I could not find his PAN. Can he apply for new PAN or what should he do?

Any person can not have 2 PANs. It will attract penalty of Rs.10,000/-.
You can search PAN by name. following is the link

If he has filed a return of income, the return can be seen in paper format or in computer by way of a saved file etc. You can approach the bank if there is a savings account as nowadays the PAN is invariably noted in the database of banks.
Please update us how you have found out the PAN

you can get the PAN No by logging into www.incometaxindia.gov.in there you get Know your PAN by clicking on that you have to enter the details asked there i.e. First Name, Last Name & D O B if it matches then it will show the name of the Person with PAN No. Try it. Good Luck

I had acquired a PVT ltd company i have lost the original PAN card of the same but i do have the Xerox of the PAN card how can iget the PAN copy of the same can anyone let me know the detailed procedure and the documents required to support the application for the PAN
